The deceased while a patient of this Hospital (Tempe Hospital) was very popular indeed with all the patients and staff. He expressed himself as highly satisfied with any little attention which we were able to show him and up to within a week or ten days of his Death, he was able to be taken out by members of the staff for drives and several of the civilians population of Bloemfontein have from time to time taken him out in their private cars and had him down for meals at their houses in Bloemfontein.
