CHAPPELL.-Killed in action. September 1, 1918 in France, Private Frederick Chappell
Not understood, we moved asunder.
Our paths grew wider as the seasons crept.
Years rolled on and down life's road we wandered
And then he fell asleep, not understood.
Inserted by his brother, Jack,
CHAPPELL.-Our dear friend, Frederick James, -56th Batt., killed in action September 1, 1918, aged 24 years.
Your loss we cannot realise.
Nor really think you're gone.
But we know the grief we'll have to bear
When they all return, and you're left there
In France, our hero friend.
Inserted by his ever loving friends, Mr and Mrs. W Buchanan, Westmead, late Drummoyne
