THE LATE CPL. W. ARNOLD.
The late Cpl. William Arnold enlisted in Adelaide on August 19, 1915, and sailed with the 12th Reinforcements of the 10th Battalion on December 2 of that year. Coming originally from Surrey, England, he started in business for himself in King William street, but gave up in order to serve his country. He was well known and respected by a large circle of friends. Cpl. Arnold was the only brother of Mrs. H. Just, of Hyde Park, Adelaide. He was killed in action in France on April 15 last. His age was 30 years.
