The latest list of those killed in action contains the name of Private E. Landquist, who was employed on the Kalgoorlie trains, and enlisted with the first contingent at the same time as several others in the employ of the company. Private Landquist was a nephew of Mr. Stoneham, managing director in London of the Kalgoorlie Electric Tramways, having come from England for experience in Australia, and had only been in Kalgoorlie for three or four months, prior to which he spent some time on a farm near the coast.
