DUNDEE AUSTRALIAN ENGINEER KILLED.
Mr John Barlow, Mid Bondfield, Cupar, formerly of Dundee, yesterday received official notice that his youngest son, Sapper Richard Barlow, Australian Imperial Force, Royal Engineers, was killed in action on 11th November. Thirty-five years of age, and a mason to trade, it is fourteen years since Sapper Barlow went to Australia.
For the past ten years he had been resident in Sydney. He joined up in July, 1915, and had been at the front since March of this year. He had never been home since he left for the Antipodes.
