BEADLE.-Killed in action at the Dardanelles between August 7 and 14, Private Jesse Beadle, late of Burwood, dearly loved husband and daddy of Laura and Ivy Beadle. He died a hero in the deadly strife, for King and country he laid down his life.

Private Jesse Beadle (killed in action between August 7 and 14) was an Englishman, and had only been in this country for two years. He was employed at the Mortlake gasworks, and lived at Park-road, Burwood. Deceased leaves a widow and one young child.
